Matthew Wilkens

MANAGING PARTNER

Matthew Wilkens is Managing Partner of 44 Greenwich, where he oversees the firm's media, entertainment, and special situations platform. With more than 20 years of experience spanning institutional capital markets, entertainment finance, and cross-border transactions, he has structured deals exceeding $500 million throughout the Americas, the Middle East, and Europe. Prior to 44 Greenwich, he co-managed a $1 billion+ rates portfolio at Goldman Sachs during the 2008 financial crisis, built Fuel Venture Capital's institutional presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and structured $250 million in cross-border joint ventures at Grupo Kallas. His work spans acquisitions, specialty media credit, film financing and production, alongside leading entertainment executives, producers and institutional investors. He holds an MBA from Yale University.

Sanford R. Climan

PARTNER

Mr. Climan is a senior entertainment executive and producer with more than 30 years of leadership across media, film, and technology. As founding head of CAA's corporate practice, he advised global institutions including Sony on its acquisition of Columbia Pictures and Matsushita on its acquisition of MCA/Universal. He served as President of Worldwide Business Development at Universal Studios and held senior positions at MGM. A BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning producer for The Aviator, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mr. Climan serves as an advisor on entertainment and media to the World Economic Forum and is CEO of Entertainment Media Ventures. He holds an MBA from Harvard University.
